The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Social Media Assistant to work within our Social Media team who is capable of slaying content capture at events, a Google-slides pro and a diligent darling who can easily juggle content calendars and multiple projects at once.

You will support marketing initiatives across all our key global social media platforms including, but not limited to, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, but mainly focusing on Instagram. You will work closely with some of the biggest content creators in the industry, apply your creativity in content creation meetings and will also help identify areas of growth for the company on socials with trends/ reporting.

As part of our team of marketing professionals, you will work collaboratively with our Senior Social Media Managers and Social Media Managers to create fun and attention-grabbing social media campaigns. The role requires you to apply the best of your creativity and logic to pull off the kind of social strategies that add real value, drive views and engagement.

This opening is an entry-level, based between our London Magic Office and working from home.

Role Accountabilities:

• Plan, build and execute smaller scale campaigns with social first thinking i.e. seasonal moments like Valentine’s Day, Mothers Day
• Support Social Media Managers on deployment of content plans and cadence plans with a focus on Instagram
• Be responsible for preparing reports analysing campaigns and their effectiveness
• Plan and execute multi-channel social plans with organic growth including monthly shoots
• Develop and execute content ideas with support from the wider team
• Monitor social trends and trending audio on Instagram, incorporating these into social plans and sharing with the team
• Work both individually and as part of a close-knit team to ensure cohesive and collaborative execution of a client’s requirements
• Support event coverage with content capture
• Apply your creative ideas and craft short-form video content for social media (in particular Instagram Reels)
• Assisting with on-going community management support across platforms
• Be able to speak about our products and brand with passion and confidence

Reporting Relationships:

Reporting into the Global Social Media Manager and Global Senior Social Media Manager

Requirements

• Experience managing social media channels
• Experience in creating content for Instagram and managing output
• Knowledge of scheduling and reporting software like Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, Later or SproutSocial
• Ability to analyse social stats via social media reporting tools
• Understanding of influencers and tastemakers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A willingness to learn
• Great attention to detail
• A positive can-do attitude and great teamwork
• Ability to follow a brief and meet deadlines

• You are full of ideas, highly attuned to trends and culture, and have a strong interest in entertainment and digital content
