We are now looking to recruit an HGV Shunter Driver who will shunt trailers on and off bays and to the external warehouse, assist in loading and general warehouse duties.

HGV Shunter Driver
£14.74 - £15.62 per hour
Penrith
Immediate start available

2 Shift pattern: Days 6am-2pm and Afters 2pm-10pm
Mon to Fri only
Full time, permanent contract
Overtime available at enhanced rates

YOUR ROLE

• Seal and secure all loaded trailers within the yard
• Position trailers to allow safe unloading
• Ensure outside bay areas are kept clean and litter free
• Be responsible for basic upkeep of shunter vehicle
• Check lights, tyres and insides of trailers

• Adhere to the company’s H&S regulations

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Holds an HGV1 Licence
• Understands a 'Safety First' culture
• Able to work independently to an extremely high standard
• A keen eye for detail
• Highly motivated with a willingness to address and resolve issues
• A flexible attitude towards work
