Live in carer

We are recruiting for passionate and dedicated individuals to help provide emotional and personal support to our service users who have experienced mental health but now wish to live as independently as possible. This position is for a Live in carer who will reside with service users in their accommodation, be working along side a support worker to assist three males who have their own self contained flats.

Duties will include

• Administering medication/ safe ordering and storing of medication, liaise with GP where necessary.
• Light household duties, meal prep and companionship.
• Prompting service users to keep their personal appearance in tact.
• Assisting where needed to accompany with shopping, with outside professional health appointments.

The roles require people who have a positive outlook, people who can be proactive and can deal with service users in a calm, professional and most importantly empathetic manner.

This position would be ideal for someone who has worked in mental health/care, ideally people with the correct attributes will also be considered. Full drivers licence and access to a vehicle would be preferred.
