This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing and promotions to join our busy Marketing team in the role of Marketing Assistant.

Your role with us...

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to support our local marketing campaigns to showcase Slimming World’s unique slimming support package and expertise, attracting potential members to join Slimming World. Working collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and reporting to the Deputy Marketing Manager, the role will involve regular liaison with our internal teams including, Design, Writing, Digital and Stock & Distribution as well as our Field based managers and self-employed Consultants. You’ll also work with our PR, Events and Social Media teams to ensure all our marketing campaigns are fully integrated.

The Marketing Assistant will also work closely with our on-site Hair & Beauty team and support the Salon Manager in assisting with the implementation of the Hair & Beauty marketing plan to attract and retain clients and recommend new and innovative ways to promote Hair & Beauty to the public and to Head Office staff.

About you...

We’d love to hear from you if you are naturally warm and friendly with a sense of fun, and:

• ​are self-motivated, can work across multiple projects and prioritise workload with good time-management skills
• are confident in communicating and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• have an excellent eye for detail, with meticulous fact checking and proof-reading skills as well as a proven ability to effectively plan, prioritise and organise tasks and project work
• have a passion for marketing and promotion, some experience or a relevant qualification
• have a forward-thinking approach and keep up to date with the latest marketing trends and innovations and are excited by new developments in the industry
