Security Officer SIA Student Accommodation

Here's a fantastic opportunity to join the team at FRG as a Security Officer based in the York area!

Shift Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday nights 20:00 to 08:00

Driving licence and access to own vehicle is a must.

This position will require the successful candidate to maintain a safe and secure environment for our client by patrolling and monitoring the site.

This Security Officer role would suit candidates with a front line SIA licence, and experience an enthusiasm for developing skills in security, gatekeeping, and as a Security Guard or Security Officer.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment & ensure safe access to the building at all times
• Carrying out patrols/hazard reporting etc as requested
• Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
• Completing all necessary reports in line with company documentation
• Access / Egress control
• Monitoring of alarms & CCTV system
• Key Holding responsibilities
• Controlling and monitoring access to the carparks
• General refuse management & ensuring overall tidiness on site
• Provide a high standard of customer service
• Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos
• Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations
• General cleaning and upkeep of site.

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid SIA Licence
• Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
• Good verbal and written communication
• Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliability
