Senior Hygiene Operative

Sunday - 6pm-6am, Monday and Tuesday - 9pm-6am & Every 2nd Saturday - 6pm-6am.

£12.91 p/hr

To ensure the highest standards of hygiene are achieved throughout the factory effectively and efficiently through the optimum use of people, time, materials and plant, equipment and machinery. To understand and maintain the standards required by customer COPs and legislative requirements.

• To assist with the training and development of others
• To maintain site disciplines in all areas of the site as appropriate and to ensure employees comply with all company policies and procedures
• To ensure effective communication within and between departments
• To take an active role in progressing cost reduction exercises, water usage and chemical usage
• To ensure effective shift handovers
• To contribute to labour planning
• To undertake any additional responsibilities as required by the Hygiene Manager
• To manage the safe working and well-being of all employees deployed within the night hygiene operations.
• Monitor staff allocations and working time regulations
• Monitor and complete daily documentation and ensure control sheets are completed and relevant corrective action is carried out within the agreed timescale

Our ideal Senior Hygiene Operative will have passion for ensuring that all areas of the factory both internal and external are clean and hygienic whilst making sure our high Health and Safety, Food Safety and Product Quality standards are met.
