Stores Operative

Carbon60 are working with a large engineering company who are currently looking for a Stores Operative on a temporary basis with the idea to go permanent after a period time and has become available due to growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who has previous warehouse experience.

This is a temp - perm Stores Operative position based in Dagenham.

This stores operative role is on a rotating shift basis, covering mornings, afternoons, and nights. Please see below the shift pattern:

• Week 1 - 06:30-14:30
• Week 2 - 14:30-22:30
• Week 3 - 06:30-14:30
• Week 4 - 14:30-22:30
• Week 5 - 22:30-06:30

Role Responsibilities will include:

• Picking, packing, and dispatching using warehouse management system
• Manual handling required
• General warehouse cleaning duties
• Data entry of new products onto system
• Chasing orders with suppliers to due date and updating system accordingly
• Placing orders
• Goods in & goods out

Skills and Experience required:

• Warehouse experience (with manual handling)
• IT literacy
