Our client is Chartered Accountants that are looking for the role of a Trainee Accountant. They successfully manage complex Accounts for a variety of customers, Providing their reputable clients with a pro-active approach to professional business and tax advice. Their success has been as a result of having the right expertise in place to offer customers the right, most effective and solutions within the accountancy and business sector.

The Opportunity

Delivering a fundamentally proactive service to their clients within the accountancy practice setting. The candidate must be willing to go the extra mile and overcome obstacles that you will face during your training to be able to become a qualified chartered accountant.

For the right candidate, this amazing opportunity for a practice accountant with either part ACA or ACCA or even a recently qualified individual with a minimum of one years’ experience would be highly successful within this company.

Responsibilities of a Trainee Accountant

• Maintenance of the client’s records and reconciliation of the accounts regarding bookkeeping and processing data entry and dealing with any potential queries
• Assist the Admin Team with various tasks relating to accounts
• Inputting and managing the rolling forecasts, budgets and actuals of the existing and new clientele
• Conducting VAT returns
• Ensuring that the financial accounts for limited companies, charities, academies and groups are prepared effectively. As well for sole traders and partnerships.

The ideal candidate

• Will be qualified / part-qualified with either ACCA or ACA with experience within a Practice Accountants
• Can demonstrate a great will to learn and desire to succeed
• Have a strong interest in progression opportunities
• A can-do attitude and willingness to participate within learning all aspects of the business
• Commutable distance to the office
